Baby G

Well we have another slight change in plans as of this morning. Went in for my doc appointment thinking we were scheduling an induction for next week but looks like Baby G needs to come sooner. My blood pressure seems to have increased since last week and the fluid levels are pretty low again so Doc Shibley has decided that its much better for the both of us to deliver soon rather than wait. So, we are going in tonight at 7:30 to start the induction process. Its a long process so we probably won't meet her until sometime tomorrow but are very excited and nervous all at the same time. Next time I post I hope to include some pics of our new baby girl! I have a feeling she is going to be a handful! She is already keeping us on our toes.

Another Week Down

Well we've made it though another week of bedrest and looking forward to a great weekend! Joe is coming home tonight and my mom and sister are also coming into town for the weekend. Should be a great time! Had another appointment today and things went well. My fluid levels were at a 9 and she did great on her ultrasound and non-stress test. My docs plan is to induce me at 38 weeks which would be around Feb 17th! Finally, we have a plan of action! I go back in to see my doc next Wednesday and we will then schedule the induction so should know more next week. Joe has been busy painting all of the rooms in our new house in Decorah so it will be ready for when the baby comes and we can officially move to our new home. He has passed two of his insurance tests and only has one more to take! He's been a very busy guy and I am so proud of him. We are both looking forward to meeting our new baby girl, moving back to Iowa, and starting the next chapter in our life together!
