TGIF
Had another good appointment this morning. My fluid levels have remained stable at 9.4 so that is great. Dr. Shibley said he was very pleased with our progress and to keep doing what we are doing. As long as my levels stay in the 9-10 range he will keep letting me go as long as possible. I go back again on Tuesday. Just glad we got through another week! Joe is coming back tonight and Guinness and I are very excited to have him back for the weekend. They always go by way too fast. Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and stay warm! : )

Can't wait for St Patty's!
Well we all know my favorite holiday is St Pats and I think the same goes for everyone else who grew up Irish in Emmetsburg. This year marks the 50th anniversary of the annual celebration in E'burg and my Grandpa Dunigan was one of the founders of the annual St Pats celebration in Emmetsburg. I've heard many stories of painting the streets green, green beer, and the craziness that went on at my grandpa's irish bar in the 60s and 70s. Sounds like it would have been a fun time! My Grandpa Dunigan was named Grand Marshall in the St Pats parade in 1997. I can still see him in his green derby hat that he always wore and wish I had a pic of him here so I could post it!
Anyway, Baby G is all set for her first St Pats celebration. We have accumulated quite a few St Pats outfits recently and it looks like she will be celebrating and wearing her green all that week. Today in the mail we received the best outfit yet....thanks to Aunt B.! Brett (who's apparently quite crafty) made Baby G a little Irish tutu which is absolutley adorable. I cannot wait to put it on her! I posted some pics above! Since my Grandma Rick and the rest of the Shady Ladys have retired from the parade this year, Brett and a few of her friends have decided to take their place and carry on the traditon as The Sassy Lassys. Brett's naming Baby G as an honorary member of the Sassy Lassys and is calling her their Little Lassy. I will have to get a pic of her in her new outfit along with the rest of the Sassys in their new parade attire. Thanks Aunt B. for the gift! You should make them and sell them at the St Pats Assoc.!
St Pats is only 7 weeks from today! The countdown is ON!

New Blog
So I'm now joining the blogging community per Allison's request. I think it's a great idea since I have all this time on my hands now. Plus it will be a great way to keep the fam and friends updated on Baby G and be able to share some pics once she is born. I had another good doc appointment today. My fluid levels were at a 9.4 which is really good considering they were at a 5.4 two and a half weeks ago. They say anything 5 and below is not good so I guess the bedrest seems to be working. Baby G did well on all of her tests and she seems to be growing and healthy. We go back again on Friday for another appointment so will report back then. I am 35 weeks tomorrow so we are getting closer and closer to meeting Baby Girl Gavle and cannot wait! I met Allison, Jack and Lauren at the Galleria for lunch today and to do a little shopping...or at least look. It's nice to get out of the house for a few hours. I try to at least plan one outing per day. Helps me from going crazy!
